What is the Story of Activia's Green Packaging?

When we launched Activia® in 1987, it was a breakthrough – and our vibrant green packaging ensured it stood out from the rest. 

Because of its strong association with life, the colour green was chosen to represent the millions of living bacteria that are in every cup, including 1 billion of our exclusive B.L. Regularis™. At that time, yogurt was traditionally packaged in blue and white, so by using bright green, we made sure Activia® was instantly distinguishable from other products on the market – reinforcing its uniqueness.

Activia®'s characteristic green packaging has been intrinsic to our success. In 2016, we will introduce a new visual identity that will reinforce the intelligent and discerning image of our brand.
